Show and Tell
What have you been working on? Have you used any snagged items or things you have to pif in your creations? Here's my latest project:
I made these 6x6 bird pages for a recent swap. I got the card fronts from a thrift shop and cut them apart to spread them across the page, and added a couple of rubber stamped images. The bird wing is a protractor that I put in my Tidbits & Tingaling packs that I sometimes pif. I saw it through the drawer front and knew I had to use it! I built the blue bird around it. Again, there is the sheet music of which I still own a 20inch stack.
I know why the caged bird sings...
In this 6x6 piece I used several items that I pif: the squares that I pif are 1 inch,
but I cut these in quarters to fit the page. The bird cages, flowers made
from vintage music sheets and old postage are all things I put up as pifs. I got the ledger
as a prize in a game from Martha!

New Year, New Ideas
I think there's a Valentine's weekend-long game in the making! Stay tuned to get details from Julie K in Taiwan. Don't forget she's on a different time zone, so check early and check late in the day to see if she's posted her plans!!!

12 Days AFTER Christmas Game starts Dec. 26
It's quite possible you will receive scrapbooking and rubberstamping items that will either replace items you have or possibly just not be your style. Trade them in for things you want in this fun 12 day game!
We have a database set up so if you're interested in hosting a day, go there and sign up. You can make up the rules for your day and offer a small prize for your winner. For those of you that have not played this game before, a good example would be, Day 2, two turtle doves - PIF Bird related items. If your pif is snagged by the end of the day your name will go in the drawing for your prize. The more pifs snagged, the more chances to win.
The prizes don't have to be big! Everyone loves to get a little something in the mail.
